Grape variety often grown together with Schiava grossa, but in much smaller proportions.
In the past it was among the most popular grape. At the end of the 70s this vine represented 40% of the Trentino’s wine production, while currently there are almost no replanting, but it remains cultivated in the most suitable areas. This group of vines create a ready-to-drink product, with a light ruby color, with a delicate floral bouquet with rose in the foreground, fruity, with almond tones.
